Parnian Hossein Pour, BSc, MPH


Research Coordinator


Parnian is a research coordinator with PERL working on projects focused on severe maternal morbidity in Canada. She completed her Master's of Public Health in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University after she completed a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at Queen's University. Parnian did her MPH practicum with PERL where her work focused on characterizing the risk factors for cervical injury during childbirth and advancing health equity in maternal outcomes, such as transfusion and hysterectomy. She has worked as an Epidemiologist/Biostatistician in the Maternal and Child Health Division of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
